Good choice for this challenge. Beautiful composition and lighting. The only things I can pick on are that the snow is obviously blown out and the cannon's shadow might have been more interesting at a later time of day (plus, you would have picked up shadows in the snow). Still, this is one of my top three picks. Nicely done!

Not sure I get the conflict here unless you are thinking of past conflicts with the cannon? Nice shot overall, good contrast but the crop on the bottom left seems a bit tight for some reason to me. The snow looks a bit blown out but not too badly. A 6

Well captured scene. The position of the canon and the tree are excellent. The only thing slightly distracting is the fact that the right wheel has essentially become just a straight line which sort of seperates the image awkwardly. If it is possible in the scene to move yourself slightly to the left to eliminate this while still keeping the rest of the composition how you have it I would recommend trying that. 9
