I always loved the AT-AT's. Like giant metal mammoths lumbering about Hoth. Of course, their lumbering is cool, but you gotta love the awkwardness of the AT-ST's too.
Anyway, RE: aperture/perspective-
Might be sorta cool to do a super low level shot with your aperture opened up focusing on the feet to make it look bigger. Or maybe an angled shot with focus on the "head" so it fades off into the distance, making the viewer perceive it as a large object?
