In Taiwan there are MC donalds on every on street. it has the most concentration of restaurants in a city (over 250 only in Taipei( and more than 400 country wide)
Their burgers really cheap. A big mac menu will cost you 3 US dollars
There are the KFC's - Burger King - Moss Burger - and many more chains. There is also a whole bunch of private owned burger restaurants. Most of them sell more tasty burgers than the big chains.

In Germany McD was way more popular several years ago. People found out that there are restaurants which sell a lot more tasty burgers.
It's still frequented by young people because it is cheaper than regular restaurants
Is it the same in Taiwan?
