8 - Very nice. Toning/b&w works very well. Really liked the braids, but especially the expression captured, which seems purely candid. Lovely face. Composition very good. Only few things were the nose 'hot spot' and the minor grain/'gamma'/contrast/something issues in the darker areas. Also in the upper right, but I think the shading/gradient there does add to the depth of this. edit:to add comments

That's one serious look she's got. Wonderful capture. 'Cept for the hot spot on the nose and the soft focus on the face (bit sharper on the braids) this is an outstanding shot!

Stunning... this is the clear winner for the challenge in my book. The tones, the expression.. and the reflection of the person are all perfect. If I had to make a suggestion, I would say it looks just slightly oversharpened. Good luck!
