her soul by whiteroomComment by Bruce_the_Robert: This, for me, is one of those dreams that morphs into a nightmare, and this is the point of morphing. It's been pleasant until now, if not a little disjointed, with abrupt changes in place and lack of a true linear narrative, and then suddenly - BAM! Time to wake up . . . |

tea girlsby whiteroomComment by Louis: Lovely.. the unsharpness is important I think, and all-out "blur" is not necessarily the point. The softness, the colours, the girls, the outfits, are very reminiscent of an old Kodacolour print from four decades ago or so. This really brings back bittersweet memories of my childhood... quite, quite a nostalgic image for me. Thanks. |

tea girlsby whiteroomComment by Brad: This is a heartwarming image that I can just sit here and smile and feel.
What works best for this IS the lack of technical perfection, which in turn, makes it perfect.

tea girlsby whiteroomComment by mia67: I don't care if it's too much blurry or not the moment I saw this
photo I love it. You are truly amazing and so talented photographer.
Your portraits are inspiration to me. Love your style, your PP,
every single photo is a story for itself. Also love that vintage
look, and border is excellent. |

tea girlsby whiteroomComment by levyj413: I think you're right - sharpless is a debatable term. :) This definitely isn't your typical hypersharp portrait where we can count the pores in their skin.
That lack of clarity lends this a vintage feel, like I'm looking at three girls who have grown up, married, had kids, watched those kids grow, etc. |

tea girlsby whiteroomComment by annig: Originally posted by annig: I don't know Les, looks more sharp than blurry to me, although the dof across the girls' faces gets blurrier as the image receds...
Beautiful nonetheless, 3 cutie pies! I love little girls in their school uniforms..remind me of the girls in the Madeline series..
oh, btw, the border on this fits very well |
LES!!! I LOVE THIS IMAGE!! I REALLY DO (Cross my heart) |
