Lilly had dreams of going to the ball..by whiteroomComment by PenelopeK: How evocative. This wonderfully expresses both motion and the quality of someone dreaming (the abstract component). Great image. I love how the door stop provides a "break" as one's eye gets drawn toward that quite large expanse of light reflecting from the floor on the right of the image. |

Lilly had dreams of going to the ball..by whiteroomComment by freakin_hilarious: What a fascinating image. The description on this challenge is all over the place, so I'm not going to worry about it. This is simply amazing. The more I look at it, the more I like it. I'm sure I'll come back to look some more, but I'll go ahead and give it a 10 and a fav now anyway. :) |

-by whiteroomComment by krnodil: Such a simple thing, that exiting feline back end, but it injects a whole new feeling to the shot - despite the posed nature of the subject otherwise, it really nails it as a shot of *that* moment, and makes it more ephemeral, in a way. Can't seem to articulate it better than that, I'm afraid. |
