Homeby MickComment by brownt: I do like this, but I think the picture of the earth is a little too complicated. If it had been a simple shape or something similar it should have looked better. Looking at the droplets there is too much to see in them. |

Homeby MickComment by PDavis: No matter how many times I see the water dropletts technique used. I still think it is cool and you did a fine job. |

Homeby MickComment by mirdonamy: I always love water drops, and this is an interesting shot indeed to put the earth behind glass. I see some marks in the glass over toward the right that are a tiny bit distracting though. It would be nice if the entire background was black, I think. I see the gradient does help the water drops. I am conflicted. Something needs to change, but I think it's in the background. |

Homeby MickComment by mijak: 2 words: Far out! Sorry couldn't resist.
The fact that the earth is slightly out of focus strengthens the illusion. Very nice! |

Homeby MickComment by redmoon: Interesting alternative to a seemingly site favourite effect-type shot... using a picture of the earth is a good idea - however, the droplets don't to me appear large or frequent enough to have a great startling impact. the image of the earth is very clear - i initially thought the place you'd never been before was outer space! overall, the concept is good, the actual carrying out not as WOW as it might have been... 5. |
