Yes, this has great color - but there isn't anything dramatic or artistic about this image. Feels like a documentary, something you would see in a book showing various bird species. Nothing wrong with that overall I guess. The image is sharp and you've selected a good aperture to blur out the background while keeping the bird in focus. Best of luck to you in the challenge.

This is a great shot! Painting with light I gather. The border adds a great "postcard" sort of feel to it. I would probably dim the light on the leaves a little in photoshop to bring out the silhouette a little more.

this has a great abstract quality. it looks phenomenal as a thumbnail. Frankly, I would fuzz this up, make it less recognizable and more abstract, but I'm funny that way. Especially fuzz up the lines of light.
