The Sound of Silenceby JasComment by szalona: I like the photo in itself but i dont see how the desaturation plays a role in your photo. it has to underline something more. i guess if the guy is the only in color it makes him more alone, but then again you chose a setting where that fact doesnt strike the eye enough. in fact i didnt realise it until i read the challenge title. |

Desperate Prisoner's Literatureby JasComment by GeneralE: I think it would be as strong or stronger an image cropped to a square ... I really like the lighting, though on my monitor it looks a little more "orangey" than I'd have made it -- I think I'd try and make it a duller brown. |
