Forgotten Summer of 2015by
instepsComment by mariuca: What a soulful documentary here!
Each time you produce another easy I am prompted to follow in your footsteps and look at a place, a neighborhood, a town with the same precision and refinement as you do.
I will go back several times and spend more time with your collection but have to note that there are a few shots that stayed with me from the first viewing:
- the food stamps image could become a political statement, a poster
- the boy, so small and barely visible from the crowd looking
with timidly and with love and touching gently the hand of his younger sibling
- the woman who seemed to have just dipped her rose to become rosy
- in the B&W collection, the spider web of cranes and nets and poles as if scribbling on the sky
The cover photo is a different story. I would use it in a different essay and make as cover for this essay the long picture that starts the hofoster page
Another lovely essay worth becoming a book
