Dark in the Daytimeby instepsComment by streetpigeon: Very interesting image. Peering into the dark you realize you can penetrate about half way, and I love the subtlety of that. I like how the strong shadows allow a gentle curve across the dog's back. I also like the hint of a profile and even the candy wrapper on the ground. Lovely, unique and compelling.

Dark in the Daytimeby instepsComment by nam: I love his stance and the way the deep shadows work in this one . . . though he may not see it, he hears something over there in the darkness for sure. Particularly nice exposure and composition - great use of the strong diagonal shadows of the dog and pole. Works well for me. |
