Wow! That has some penetration Henry. Perfect level of rendering. Any more fidelity and it'd be diminished by being too equivocal. Any less would blunt its spear point.

Robert, Thanks for the comment and I agree the tones, patterns, and lines are broken abruptly by the surroundings. An interesting thing about Asia is a clash between urban and rural spaces. For the most part there are no suburbs and people live in dense villages or cities. My attempt was to show a looming presence of development against the simple beauty of these fields. I want to photograph stories and the rice field on its own, while beautiful, doesn̢۪t tell the whole story. Thanks again for all your comments and contributions on here.
