Dead Poet's Clubby BrennanOBComment by Kylie: I would love to know the lighting and editing techniques used here. Just beautiful. So unique. Very surreal. |

Point of balanceby BrennanOBComment by BrennanOB: Yes,I admit it, I stole the purple cloth from Heida( actually a flannel bed sheet as Keegbow pointed out) because it looked less mystic when I did it in a tee shirt. The whole robed in purple adds that Tolkinesque quality that make sword balancing seem less silly. I can do this balance trick with the sword and there are people who can do the wine glass platter on the sword trick, I'm just not one of them. I made up for this lack of skill by sticking a piece of shelving under the books in a bookshelf and perching the tray with the glasses on it, and hanging the sword on a nail hammered in the end of the board. By draping the whole thing with black fabric it hid the support. Cheap trick, but I kept my glassware intact. The lighting sort of failed but it was fun to do anyway. |

Dead Poet's Clubby BrennanOBComment by Spanish_Grease: This is a very interesting image. I can't tell if this was done in photoshop, or if it was painted with light. It looks a tad unnatural.. but impressive nonetheless. I just hope it's painted with light, and not dodged and burned. 8 |

I noticed that too.
Now how did you do it? |
