This is a great idea. The problem I see here is that the markers in the background are a bit too out of focus so that it may not be evident what you are trying to show despite the amount of space devoted to the background area.

This is an awesome photo. At first run through I gave you a 5. Now upon second look I bump you to an 8. Truly beautiful.
