I like a lot of things about this ... the dramatic sky, the contrast with the snow and the rocks, the layered comp, the clear focus and appropriate DOF. If the tie in to the theme were more clear to me, I could have scored it a few points higher.

While I was originally going to give this photo a 6 or a 7, based on the fact that it *is* a shot of a common neon sign.. I had to stop for a minute, because I kept coming back to it.. I just have to say that I love the way you've framed it, and how it's lit. It's a common sign.. but you've somehow made it simply stunning to look at.. so.. an 8 from me. :)
