Summer is the best time to visit Seattleby cabaComment by PhilipDyer: Very nice vantage point and a beautiful photo. My personal preference would be to lower the horizon a bit to put the Space Needle right on the top left third line. The only other thing I notice is that the mountain looks a bit odd, either from haze or overprocessing. Still, this is a really nice photo - one of the best in the challenge. |

Photosynthesisby cabaComment by redmoon: looks like a horticultural version of the opening to any james bond film! i like this greatly though - the greens are luminous, the detail is nice and sharp (althugh a little is lost in the lower left hand corner - which also looks moderately discoloured from the rest) and i like how you SCOFF at the rule of thirds having the centre stem all the way over to one side - choice of composition is very nice indeed. fits the challenge, and is a viable hang-on-the-wall image. 8. |

Summer is the best time to visit Seattleby cabaComment by mhoogendyk: This is by far the best Seattle image in the challenge - and probably the best "any city" image. DOF to infinity. Great contrast between tower and mountain (and even the skyline composition is cool). Would do wonderful as the front cover of a travel guide for the area. It would attract me, that's for sure. As an overall travel image, it would have to be supplemented by people and activities. If I rated higher for other images, it was because they also included those items. Congratulations. |

Photosynthesisby cabaComment by Artyste: The composition of this photo is absolutely wonder. I love how you've decided to put the center of the "star" to the side of the photograph, gives it a very "landscape" feel. It's also very interesting how it both looks backlit.. yet also looks like it's being lit from the center of the "star" itself. Great work.. my favorite "leaf" of the challenge :) |

The Gorgeby cabaComment by uberjuve: Excellent example of what the challenge actually calls for, something that most submitters wholly ignore. |

The Gorgeby cabaComment by hpven21: The photo is compromised by the low quality and the unfocused arc... |
