This is definitely mirrors! Okay, to be honest, I don't find this shot to be very interesting. Outside of 'Oh, its a mirror/party ball", I don't know what to think. You might try a more dramatic point of view, or different moody lighting. Or perhaps you could put the ball more in its context to show how groovy it can be as a party ball. I suppose what I'm trying to get at is that this ball, in and of itself, is not an interesting subject (at least to me). It could be, though. Perhaps it could represent partying and how great it is to have friends. Or perhaps it could communicate the thrill of dancing. You have a lot of choices, and your skills as a human and as a photographer (it appears you have a particular talent for finding interesting light and tones and patterns around you) will all come into play to communicate such things. I was looking through some passed challenges and this pic really caught my eye...I really like the three layers, composition is great, and the building has a unique shape...too bad it didn't score higher.
