Together Foreverby brett2004Comment by coolhar: I don't like the yellowish cast and the film canisters look overexposed, I like the full depth of field and the sharp detail |

The Tenacious Dragonby brett2004Comment by Dibutil: From Critique Club.
I disagree with those who did not like the burned-out spot. The concept of the image IMHO has based on the contrasts: light buring the heart of the Dragon (I'd made it concentrated little higher on the chest and gave it some glow) and the shadow. The shadow does not have to stand apart from the body - overlap is OK and be lager, darker and more blurred. You can not separate the Dragon and his shadow - the self-esteem. And composition would benefit too - currently it is split unevenly leaving just the tip of wing in the center of attention. Teeth must also be in focus...
Overall: very good underlying idea, nice choice of methods to render it and need improvement in details ;-)) +5 |

Together Foreverby brett2004Comment by karmat: I like the idea and setup, but the background is a bit distracting. Maybe a tighter crop and a different color cast would help (though the yellowish tone does give the feeling of old photography) |

Together Foreverby brett2004Comment by HRoxas: the warm tint of this photo really adds a lot of mood to it. The film containers are a bit over-exposed but nonetheless it's a very good photo. nice job. |

Together Foreverby brett2004Comment by moodville: Yay Nikon! The composition looks well thought out and all the individual pieces compliments each other well. The yellow cast seems to add to the ageness of the shot and also goes with the tones of red and brown in the background. The only negative is the hot spots on the film cannisters. Overal it's a good capture. |

Together Foreverby brett2004Comment by Olyuzi: Pronouced yellow cast and ugly background spoils this image for me. Lighting is too strong causing hot spots on the film cannisters and is uneven on both sides of the picture. Could probably use some fill. |

Together Foreverby brett2004Comment by darcy: there seems to be a little too much green happening here - the black of the camera seems way more green than i think it actually is. nice composition. a little low in contrast. |
