Nice use of slow shutter speed to capture the motion of the flowing river. I would say to maybe stop the shutter speed down by another 1/2 stop and the flow would be creamy yet still with a little detail. I can still see a little of the stopped action of the whitewater hitting the rocks, so that is why I suggest that.

As far as the color, looks like you got the sunny part of the photo color corrected well, but left the shady part a little blue from the reflection of the sky. Finding a scene with more even light may help with that.

Although there are some good elements in this image, it doesn't work for me. the only real focal point - arguably the stones in the middle and/or the stick across the creek - are not strong enough to carry this image. A shallower depth of field might have helped, or a closer crop. Too much vying for my attention.

I feel that this does not meet the criteria based on the wording. The subject should have been black, and there is not a black background.
