Pest Controlby soccerdadComment by TabbyCat: Haha! Incidentally I had to chase and kill a few moths earlier today. The lighting in the picture is superb. Is the background an actual wall? Or a floor? Either way, it's a perfect and natural choice. Maybe the size difference between the gun and the pest would have a better impact if you showed the whole gun, or most of it. Just my opinion, though. Wonderful shot (pun intended)! |

Pest Controlby soccerdadComment by postoakinversion: I like the idea. Fits the challenge well. Focus is a little soft. noisy. not sure why you needed a high ISO setting. would have been better with more light and lower ISO. |

Pest Controlby soccerdadComment by Glen King: More like overkill, but a different take on the challenge. Ok photographically, but I would prefer just a little darker background. this looks a bit overexposed. |

Look out any windowby soccerdadComment by theodor38: GREETING FROM "happy world of criticism club by mehmet"
i trully love this picture. it seems like one of a kind..scenery is absolutely faboulus and even though i dont know the surrounding area this seems to be aperfect angle to capture such beauty. but the frame dont really feel like a window, it seems more like a frame created in post processing, so that is one downside that i see. other than that, i can hardly find anyhting else wrong with it, i didnthave a chance to vote on this challenge but i should have given it an 8 at least with confidence.. keep up the good work..

Kruegerby soccerdadComment by leaf: nice image. hmm just thinknig about what could be improved. i wonder if the elephant could be just a TOUCH more in focus. it seems soft right now and might be improved by being very sharp. Perhaps the fact that is looks a little fake (the mouth) makes it seems less impressive, but you have a great idea and a good start. The sunset behind the elephant is good, with nice reds and steaks of darker and lighter shades. I like the cropping and framing of the image.
