Nice image. Without the explanation of "Lighthouse", or even with it, I didn't come up with "hope". Guess I did after thinking about it for awhile. It's just not that clear.

But for the title I couldn't have figured out that this was a lighthouse, and would have had a hard time seeing how a nice picture of a nondescript tower represented hope. Maybe a less steep angle, less light/glare on the left side of the tower and a light beam from the top of the tower cutting through the air, and this picture would have been stunning.

Good shot. The texture is a little too grainy for my liking and the lighting just a little too harsh, but sometimes we just do the best with what we have. There is something about the photo that keeps drawing my attention. Nicely done!

Lighthouses usually do convey hope. However, the lighting and angle of this picture make the lighthouse seem forbidding.
