I like the color, but I'm not able to make any logical sense of the tree branch that disappears under the doors (windows), comes up on the other side, & goes toward the sky. The light has no logic to it either, for me. I hope you will put in some notes to help me understand.

Commonplace but very well seen - the warm tones of the background are a nice contrast to the cool tones of the cup itself. Voted earlier.

I love the color here and so much to catch the eye. I could see this as an illustration in a fairy tale. The curious hero/heroine sneaks into the garden and views the cottage door from afar...

This is my choice for the blue! The light and shadow, the color, the perspective, the foreground and background elements all work to create a magical scene of a lost world tucked away!!

Another clever composition. I think it might be a little too busy though - it's hard to get an overall impression without isolating one section to view in detail - the symmetry concept is to view the image as a whole and not in part. Still, a very clever idea and concept. Nicely done.

Perhaps you misunderstand the symmetry concept of the challenge. The challenge description is: "Your photo must be made up of two or more copies of the same photo flipped to create a symmetrical image". I used 8 copies of one entire photo to make this, so you're not seeing anything "in part". I'm not sure why you felt a need to isolate one section to view in detail to get an overall impression of the final image. But I do appreciate the fact that you commented. :)

Gears and more gears - as intricate as fine clockworks. Voted earlier.
