Stob Ghabharby TallblokeComment by macrothing: 7 - Nice scene, colors and composition. Never would have guessed Scotland, although should have recognized the Gaelic name. Had to look it up, links and extracts which you may be interested in (apologies if you've already seen it) - SummitPost.org:
"Stob Ghabhar (pronounced Stop Gower) sits at a height of 3576ft/1090m and is listed as No.55 in the Munro tables. Its translation into English from Gaelic means Peak of the Goat."
And from Wikipedia Stob Ghabhar: "Stob Ghabhar is a Scottish mountain situated nine kilometres north west of Bridge of Orchy. It is part of the Black Mount group of mountains and stands on the border of the Argyll and Bute and Highland council areas."
Certainly a bit of a climb! |
