A wonderful image. The head of it looks like an alien. I wish it did not go all to white but have kept the purple texture. Very original.

Great picture! From the thumbnail, I thought it was a jellyfish. Nice sharp focus and good contrast. Not sure if the pink/purple hue was from lighting or photoshop but either way, good job.

Lighting: Very good, but could have used a reflector under her chin and more of a catchlight to highlight those wonderful blue eyes even more.
Pose: Works well for the desired result, but would have been more flattering if taken from a perspective just about eye level.
Background: No complaints; it does not really add anything to the image, but does not detract from it either, and it does have good separation from the similarly colored shirt.

I've been avoiding voting on this pic cuz I don't see how a macro shot of a flower fits the challenge. A beautiful shot with great colors but in my opinion it does not fit the challenge.
