I like your gaze, you look wistful and a bit sad. The darkness of the photo echoes this feeling. Not sure I like the dark curtain on the left side, maybe if the window was entirely white with white sheers it would look a bit more balanced. Right now it looks as if you are looking at that dark curtain rather than out the window.
