Great shot, love the curves in teh creek, the bush in the left to frame the shot, adn the contrast in the complimentary colors and the light and dark in the photo. Might have liked it lightened up a bit or an increase in mid and high levels, if it didn't get blown out. 8

this was a difficult challenge, the shadow on the snowman helps him stand out, but the lower shadow is a bit distracting to me. I do also like the contrast between the foreground subject and background and the dof works well.

I would have cropped this a bit higher than lower...IMHO. Excellent lines leading to the top of the image...not to mention the beauty of the subject. Good luck!

Great title! (I would have never thought of it!!!) At first, I thought the sun should be on "the other side", but that's what makes the snowman stick out from the background most (not a picture of a snowman in a snow storm!), so good lighting. The trees in the background tend to muddle the shot to me (Maybe a more downward angle??) Photo 8, but the title gets you one more...9 Swash
