Riverfront Parkby DiamondPeteComment by batmaing: Odd, but my first thought was, "The arm rest of this closest bench would've tied the whole image together." I think because all the other benches have a beginning and an end, a bit more of this arm rest would've brought "closure" to the image. Just a gut reaction. However, good crispness and composition otherwise. |

RRby DiamondPeteComment by tonyv: I wonder if this could have been made stronger by getting lower and including more of the tracks? |

Klondike Bluffsby DiamondPeteComment by jduffett: I think there are too many competing elements here. At the left the rocks line up almost perfectly with the mountains in the back ground, as well as the clouds, which kind of takes away from their unique shapes. The detail in the rocks is interesting, so I'd like to see them closer. On the other hand, I like the pools too, and it may have been difficult to do both. I like how the lumpy clouds kind of mimic the lumpy rock, but it is all too much I think. I think it needs a slightly different angle and some simplification. |

I think that a single fork in the road would have been more illustrative than what looks like part of a switchyard, or what is in any case a more complex arrangement than a branch from one to two lines. overcomplexity is obfuscating your concept. |

RRby DiamondPeteComment by theSaj: well it's a fork, and it's a railroad, and I like the alternative to silverware. But this particular section of track does little for me...sorry. Background too cluttered. I would have cropped just the fork area. Or approached with a lower-angle of attack
