Very simple and elegantly captured.
I love that you chose to offset as well. Adds drama.

I can almost see a golf reference here. A bit lacking composition for me with the ball way up in the upper left corner.

interesting picture. it doesnt seem to match the title however as the round ball does not look like a diamond. nice composition though.

Thanks for the positive comments guys! I took about 35 shots of these particular droplets and decided to submit this one. However I did have another lighter version that I considered submitting.

As far as what I did... I originally tried to make the zodiac sign with just 2 rows of water droplets and decided it was too plain. So, after rumaging around in my kitchen for some liquid that was blue I came across some blue raspberry snow cone syrup.

I prepped the class with some Rain-X, thanks to my beautiful wife, she suggested the Rain-X. This allowed the liquids to bead up on the glass. I then used a squirt bottle to coat the glass with varying sizes of water bubbles. I dried up a small section in the middle of the water and used a dropper to begin laying out the syrup in the rows you see. That took a while, mainly because I'd get one bubble too close to another and end up with a larger one then expected.

If anyone wants to see any of my other pics of this particular scene please feel free to let me know, I'd be happy to send you any. I'm just happy I got a decent score for my first post. =)
