Water Snakeby davidx76Comment by docurrie: The colors are somewhat washed out due to the harsh lighting conditions, making it a little difficult to see what the snake is doing. |

Water Snakeby davidx76Comment by Thai: not quite sure what this snake has in its mouth, a fish I think, wish the snake had been more in focus also. |

Water Snakeby davidx76Comment by Qwest30: This is a great photo, however the colors of the subject(s)and the background are so similar that the subject doesn't "pop" out. Also the focus seem to be more on the fish than the snake. Maybe a more angled profile shot from the right would have served this picture better. (5) |

Beach of leavesby davidx76Comment by PHOTOKID: This is a nice fall shot, I think you should try to saturate your colors a bit to see if you can make the rock in the photo pop a bit more and cause a bit more depth that what the photo has now. Great composition and sharpness.
Great Shot.

Bridge-and-Lightening.jpgby davidx76Comment by PHOTOKID: This is a great shot, I love that there is multiple subjects in the photo. I also like your use of thirds seeing the subjects line right up with them. The feeling of the photo to me feels slighly tilted to the left, but could be me (5am here). Great Capture.

Family-portrait.jpgby davidx76Comment by sherpet: This is one of the best images I have ever seen of gorillas.
It is a very touching image here, well done. Iy love how the male gorells is looking at the other two, so powerful, but also so sweet. Message edited by author 2006-08-24 23:47:39. |

November Mushroomby davidx76Comment by sherpet: I just love fungie of any kind, and this one is a beauty..... It has the most wonderful textures and colors.....I love it. My only siggestion would be to see it cropped tighter, and maybe with a square crop, as it would give it more impact. Message edited by author 2006-08-24 23:44:12. |

Sea-level.jpgby davidx76Comment by PHOTOKID: The first thing of the photo that i realize is there really isnt a major subject, if you were hoping for the boats to be the subject I would consider taking a crop in to make them larger and catch the eye. The other thing that I would consider is to crop out the stick in the foreground, for some reason My eye goes right to it every time that I look at the photo. I know we really cant control the weather either, but I think it would contrast the boats better if you had a blue sky day. I know this really happens for me so I am kind of glad im not the only one with gray sky photos (no offense or nothing). |
