It has potential, perhaps shoot these flowers in the early am or late afternoon. For better lighting, mood, and warmth. One rule is to not shoot a photo with direct sunlight. Try to advoid as much as possiable. It causes the photo to look and feel harsh and blown out....unless this is what you wanted. Good luck!

This is a very unusual viewpoint. With the subject so close to the camera and the long vista behind. I'm not sure if it works but I find it intriguing.

see you've tried a unique pov here... perfect dof. i find my eye stopping at the bright flowers -- nothing pulls my eye through the frame until I get to the blue sky. while back there, there is nothing interesting to see (imho)

Your composition, crop and color are excellent to my eye. I only wish for more focus on the nearest poppies.

Simply holding the fern down would have improved this shot. A little overexposed, but good color.

The left flower is well placed according to the rule of thirds but basically this is just an OK flower image. Suggestions for improvement: One, for best detail without overexposed areas as found in this image take flower pictures in shade or under overcast skies. The soft focus firn in front of the left flower distracts from the image. A touch blacker blacks would might make the flower stand out a bit more, but be careful not to lose detail in the image.

I think this would have been better without the fern in front of the second flower.

I like your picture. If if were in better focus and the fern leaf wasn't in front of one of the orange flowers I think it would be even better.
