Thanks for all the encouragement. I was very surprised this photo did this well. I know it was not 'Technically' correct, but this one kept cathing my eye when I was trying to decide which one to post for the challenge. I had others that were better focused and brigher, but this one seemed to jump out at me. So I entered it.

9 10's is quite a surprise. But it means others also saw whatever it was that I saw in this picture and voted that way. (Still not sure why I liked this one)

The swan looks very soft, just cropped a little to tight for me ,still a great shot..

You've got two somewhat competing aspects of this shot and my attention isn't flowing from one to the other but rather am left with the feeling these are two different shots/perspectives put in one image. I do like them both separately! Toning down the red or bringing more color into the palm trees might be worth playing around with.
