I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of other people tell you the same thing too. anyways, things to fix... well, I think the blue camera kind of detracts from the picture. so first of all, focus exclusively on the slr. secondly, if you light it with a flash like that, the background becomes really ugly and you get glare off the subject. light it from the side to make nice shadows and give the image more depth. use different angles and compositions to focus in on certain design aspects of the canon rather than the whole thing at once. |

pre-digitalby queen 91Comment by floyd: Ok you really have yourself a challenge here - trying to photograph a mainly black camera on a black background. It mostly works but I think you needed more light on these subjects. Perhaps a little off to either side or even from above might have been interesting. There's also very little resolution in your picture. There's blockiness around the highlight in the bottom left of the blue camera. Good choice of subject, though. |

pre-digitalby queen 91Comment by Gotcha: There is quite a bit of pixelation going on in this, I'm not certain if it's due to re-sizing or resolution or what. also if you boost the cameras up above the background cloth it might help a great deal to hide it in the photo. (a lint brush is a must) - good luck |
