Yup, looks pretty bizarre to me, too. I think I would have like this better without the cloud's shade on the hills behind. (yes, hard to ask for, but the hills seem pretty dark) I've seen this building (I think), but I can't remember where, it's really new, an art center if I remember correctly. Meets challenge:Looks new in the modern sense, especially compared to the mountains.
Technical aspects:A bit too centered but lighting and exposure is good.
Artistic Merit:ok
Suggestions: maybe try a few different compositions. I think I'd try to isolate the tower against the mtns minus the rest of the structure to enhance the "Other world" look. Glad to see some blue sky...nice picture.
