Handsome, moody image. I love the purple toning. The depth and reach are wonderful. The sun's rays are glorious. Really takes one's breath away.

Lovingly given to us, this seemingly straightforward image is beautiful and moving. Not just the donkeys/burros/mules (don't know), but also the sun-drenched sky, the bright field and the flowered shadow pathway. The composition is quirky but does work. Still, we come back to the tenderness of the animals.
Come to think of it, a second second favorite of the challenge.
