An excellent example of something that is recognizable, but still abstract in it's approach. The focus of the image is on the colors, shapes and textures, rather than the actual subject. A high vote for this one.

I remember seeing this image when I browsed the challenge, and I remember liking it. I think it has a great feel to it. Maybe people didn't like the fat white border?

I love the processing. I use vignetting a lot, but usually not at the same time as I have a letterbox. It still works here though. Reminds me of many buildings I've seen in Lithuania - from the Russian occupation.

Additionally, it is highly interesting/eclectic meaning it keeps me here long enough to offer a longer comment and a vote of 8 or more.

This is one of my 9s - I like it a lot. Furthermore I think it enriches the DPC collective portfolio. Put simply, I wish we saw more stuff like this. Let me tell you why it pushes all the right buttons for me:

1. Very interesting space that defies categorisation.
2. Lovely light.
3. Lovely tones - what a superb conversion.
4. The slightly hunched figure - we know not his purpose.
5. The lights - like punctuation marks across the scene.
6. The variety of textures.
