It's You Again Human?!?by beatabgComment by markwiley: How are those of us with mature (OK, old) dogs supposed to compete with puppies? It's just not fair. Look into those eyes and tell me this is fair? She looks great in black & white -- I love the texture and contrast in her fur. It is also a great pose/composition. Nice job. Looks like it may be Daphne. |

Dreamsby beatabgComment by Yo_Spiff: An excellent example of something that is recognizable, but still abstract in it's approach. The focus of the image is on the colors, shapes and textures, rather than the actual subject. A high vote for this one. |

I remember seeing this image when I browsed the challenge, and I remember liking it. I think it has a great feel to it. Maybe people didn't like the fat white border?

I love the processing. I use vignetting a lot, but usually not at the same time as I have a letterbox. It still works here though. Reminds me of many buildings I've seen in Lithuania - from the Russian occupation. |
