The subject doesn't appear bored, yet the title suggests otherwise. That intrigues me. It makes this portrait almost a metatextual commentary on the concept of boredom itself--and the silly things we do to overcome it.

Nice abstraction! I didn't think I could still get excited by shots like these, but that building reflected and the small water drops...lots to keep the eye moving around the frame here.

Unusual crop, but well seen. Subsequent revisits have caused me to see interpretive layers in this framing. It hints at parallel realities, registers something like an interrogation of the tidy boxes we like to put ourselves in--the way we live in interdependent community but pretend like we're living in isolation.

Maybe that's more than was intended, but good art is evocative like that, right?
