This is an elegant portrait of milkweed pods. Those two seem to be smiling at the viewer. I like the delicate background vegetation. The lighting brings an immediate sense of winter.

Somehow I never perceive the dried flora as death, not even here. The snow adds to the elegance of the shapes

If it wasn't for the dinosaur and the chicken, I would've given this the much lower vote. It's not anywhere near the technical chops of some of the other entries, but that's irrelevant. Cleaning up some exposure/lighting issues, I'd hang this on my wall. People would look at it. People would talk about it.

Also, is that a mermaid? Why doesn't the skier have skis?

I love the idea, the pov, the little people. Just a bit dull, light-wise. The blue cast in the center makes me think you lit this with an LED flashlight
