Good take on the challenge. I think either more contrast, or leave it in color instead of the sepia. Perhaps even change the color of the background entirely.

Great! Sepia is perfect for this!

If I could change one thing I would love for this to be in sharper focus from back to front. The narrow DoF doesn't really add anything, in my opintion.
