Quite a good go at shooting a scene which includes a light source: the balance between that and the ambient light is quite good. That interaction of different colour temperatures allows us to see the textures, without losing detail.

A little more light on the potpourri would have made this shot stronger. The flame "steals" the attention of the picture.

Great minds think alike? I almost did the PS2 controller. Nice composition (a little busy maybe) and a darker background (though harder to shoot) would make for some nice shadings!

Upon first seeing this photo I thought it was pretty good but did nothing for me as far as meeting the challenge. I don't have kids, so the thought of letting go didn't occur to me right away. I've looked at this 3 times and now I get it. I hope others will too as it is a very well done photo. SCORE: 7 Well done and good luck!
