I think this is my favorite of this gallery. I like the emotions the image evokes, love the interlaced fingers, and have to agreed the DOF is spot on. Things I would change...looks a bit grainy in the shadows...not bad, but maybe could be touched up a bit.

coolshot. I have not had any success yet in photographing spider webs.
Wonderful DOF here and sharp focus on the web. The very front twig I may have tried to break off though so it wouldnt be blocking my view of the web

Yes, it was my entry is "Best of 2005." It didn't finish very well...in the 500's out of 800+ entries, somewhere in the mid 5's.
