Where's the rust? Your choice of color hides the very thing you were trying to capture. I'm certain it would have been a good picture if it showed the rust.

The shot doesn't engage me; the rust may be there, but not a good choice for black and white in my opinion.

The rust isn't really apparent in this color. The pitted texture could just as easily have come from cast iron.
