Standing Tallby jpochardComment by rkligman: I think I'd like to see the tower a little higher in the picture, just below the top. Too much space above it. The tower is nicely lit and since it is the subject, I would like to see it much clearer. Its a bit soft. |

Standing Tallby jpochardComment by e301: Looks to have suffered from rather heavy processing - whether or not in camera is impossible to tell, but to my eye it harms the shot a great deal. I think there might have been a strong sense of serenity, of early evening peace to it - that shade of blue - but it does need that cleanliness of image to go with the clean (and strong) composition. |

Standing Tallby jpochardComment by Damian: Nice idea, the houses being visible distract and since they are out of focus it just makes it worse. I would suggest maybe burning out the detail in the houses? Good shot. |

Food Processorby jpochardComment by Arcanist: Very colorful shot, nice contrast with the wood grain and the background even lends to the interest level. All the elements seem to be in just the right focus. Disappointed in the top area of the crop as there seems to be an uneven distribution of the negative space up there. Perhaps if the tomato was 'lowered' on the stage and the upper corner of the cutting board were also cropped, this would improve. The knife blade seems dull compared to the rest of the shot and may have more impact if it were a wider blade. Overall tho I have to give some high marks for this as it has an eye-candy feel to it that is very appealing. |

Food Processorby jpochardComment by snackwells: Knives are certainly the old school food processors. Well exposed and nice colors. The tomato is a little fuzzy in the foreground, but that's quite alright as the main emphasis is on the knife. Well done. |
