Thanks for the kind comment.. This happens to be a colleague of mine from work, and she has really beautiful expressive eyes. So i requested her to pose for me. This one was done in office (wouldn't want my boss to find out :-p), with natural light coming in through the window. I would have liked to have had some more sharpness, and find the glare of the outside light falling on her left pupil distracting, but to be fair, it was a hurried shot taken after work, and she wouldn't pose for me indefinitely :-)

I like the outline of the bird here, although there is some blur/OOF on the edges. Perhaps a more squarish crop would have given the bird more power.
