The Barberby avolcoffComment by e301: You have a difficulty with light here i think; the eye naturally being drawn to the brightest areas of frame (although there are other considerations, naturally, but with such deep depth of field they don't come into this very strongly), the primary point of attention in your shot is the bas of the chair. There's a tension introduced by another natural instinct which is to see the faces, and the pull between those two things. Sometimes that can be a successful technique, that division of attention, bu for me there's nothing fascinating about the base of the chair ... 5 |
