According to the title, your focal point is the step. This is a nice composition, but I'd like to see the step in sharp focus...this would draw the eye to the step instead of the fender.

the color makes me think this vehicle is old, which add to the overall feel of the photo, I really like your DOF and the Ground or Background has a shine to it which reflexs the tire.The only think that I would change is the black part in the bottom left hand corner it takes your eye right to it.... but that is just me...Great shot...9

Technical: Most all images submitted fit the challenge. Exposure composition focus lighting all good, obviously meant to convey a mood. I think the small size of this image will hurt you in the voting.

Personal: For me, it's almost there. More work might have produced the perfect shot.
