Old Country Church Marks the Way Homeby prbettsComment by SDW: Hi, I like your photograph for several reasons. The shadows are nice giving lines and making the overall photograph more interesting and your lighting is good. But the focus seems to be off. Maybe camera shake, I donĂ¢€™t know but it seems not to be crisp. Your perspective is good and would of loved to see it in good focus. |

Old Country Church Marks the Way Homeby prbettsComment by elemess: Nice composition. The bare tree gets lost in the evergreen behind it, though. Quick, travel back in time and get this shot with that tree in full foliage. I like this overall; the white church looks good. |

Old Country Church Marks the Way Homeby prbettsComment by KDO: The lighting distracts from this image. I like the concept. The steeple and the white cross at the top are striking, so brilliantly white. Maybe shooting from a perspective of looking up with the cross at the apex of your image could be powerful. Just a thought. |

Old Technoloy Still In Use Bridgeby prbettsComment by Arcanist: I dont normally place bridge engineering in the technology realm, however after careful consideration of the image, can see that the support structure really is something that is very outdated for train trestles. I give you points for the subject, but still find it less 'low tech' and more 'old design' Your focus is great, good DOF, bit distracting far background, but not so much that it would seems deductable. Nice use of the banks as a framing tool. |

Beware of Wild Animalsby prbettsComment by ClubJuggle: The slight blur suggests this was taken from a moving vehicle. This is a good concept, but some extra time to composet a steady shot would have helped you here. |
