I'm no expert, but I think this photo could have been improved by isolating the bridge against the sky (from a lower position if possible) and applying the rule of thirds to the position of the horizon.

Comment by Catherine_B:
Bridge is too far away and shouldn't be centered in the image. Remember the rule of thirds.

Good colors, however darkening at the edges and the horizon disrupting the bride's silhouette detract from this photo.

I think that this is a lovely picture and the only thing that I'd suggest trying differently would be to take it from a slightly lower angle, so that the horizon is hidden by the bridge.

Nice photo - would have been better for me if it was cropped with more sky and less of the foreground. I would have put the skyline about 1 third of the way up the photo

To far away, merges with the horizon

I see a good complimenting of color, or balance between the water and the sky, split nicely by the bridge, however, I'm wondering if perhaps this would be a much stronger shot by placing the bridge/horizon lower or higher. I'm not normally a real stickler for having to use the rot all the time, but I think it might help in this case.

I like the idea though I would have included more sky. Could be sharper too.
