I feel I want to get closer to see more detail, how did it look when you tried a tighter crop? I would suggest too that u should rotate your entries to get nice vertical verticals

	Tropical Pink by jpeters Comment by macrothing: Nice colors, focus and DOF. If it were a fraction sharper right at the very tip (more 'fore focus'), make this even better in my opinion. Your call obviously, but perhaps a crop variation, or even just a little more height may have given this even more 'balance' and a little extra. Looks like a bromeliad flower.

	Riding the Subway by jpeters Comment by Lustre: Good work - the blurring of the train is done beautifully, just enough to show motion but not overdone. The almost-silohuetted people also works really good. Their faces really stand out compared to the darkened clothing. Great job!
