Taking the Turnby admart01Comment by Kathy: Needs more contrast (curves?) to deepen the reds (which might make the numbers look more green - right now, they appear as a light blue.) |

Gone to Seedby admart01Comment by temba: It's really weird but there's one of these in the 'Something New' challenge too. That makes me one mighty confused little bunny right now!
Great shot, good composition and dof and I love the touch, just the slightest hint of colour from the background, that simple thing really makes this image very special.
Oh, and on balance, I think dandelion heads must be 'Something Old' since this is the stage after they've flowered and lost their petals. |

Gone to Seedby admart01Comment by raish: I saw this one in the 'something new' challenge - heh (probably not the same one, but that says something about the originality of the image) |

Metal Petal Studyby admart01Comment by undieyatch: I debated on this one... originally voted five for sharpness but composition idea won out - 7... for strong composition. I like the excellent crop.... Sharpen editing is so difficult for me, I don't know what to tell you there, but on this foto with shallow dof, you may consider to open up a bit and keep in mind that your lens best sharpness is at f5.6......... at least according to this.

Gone to Seedby admart01Comment by BakerBug: Old is kind of a stretch for this. I find new ones like this all the time in my yard. :-) The DOF works well with this shot. It would be very easy for this to get lost in the background but you did a good job of preventing that. |
